Crashes on the M50

Only two major crashes on the M50 this morning – delays for 4 hours coming from North-bound, delays for 2 hours south-bound from Junction 9 – Red Cow.

White van driver on mobile phone caused incident at the interchange. (as usual)

Dublin Fire Brigade and Ambulance services are on the scene and the incidences have been moved to the hard shoulder, where they are talking to their insurance companies.

Snow forecast for rush hour this evening, so driving conditions expected to be terrible.  Leave work 3 hours early, bring a flask and sandwiches if you hope to arrive home at a reasonable hour.
